The Termimesh System barrier is a unique woven stainless steel mesh engineered to stop termites entering your home through concealed entry points.
The Termimesh System was conceived in the late 1980's in response to the banning of organochlorine pesticides, the traditional highly toxic method for controlling termites. This was a world first for an integrated chemical free physical termite barrier system and the Termimesh System quickly became the benchmark for building out termites.
In 1990, Termi-Mesh Australia Pty Ltd which later became TMA Corporation Pty Ltd, was established to undertake a comprehensive research and development program for the concept of using a flexible stainless steel mesh as a physical barrier against termites.
Australia's leading research organisation, CSIRO, was contracted to independently test the ability of the mesh to restrain termites. The testing was a resounding success and the Termimesh story began.
A Service Centre network commenced in Perth in 1992 and the company grew across Australia, winning recognition from the Housing Industry Association and the Australian Standard.
By 1995 there were Service Centres across Australia with the first international Service Centre operational in Hawaii. Other Service Centres soon followed with the establishment of Singapore, Japan, Texas and Florida. Today, the System is available in all of those locations as well as France, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
The Termimesh System rapidly became the leading physical termite barrier with around one in five new homes having the barrier installed. There are now over half a million homes protected by the Termimesh System.
