Construction on the innovative Sustaining Our Shoalhaven (SOS) House Project in the Nowra, Shoalhaven area of NSW has begun. The Project will involve more than 40 Business Participants and other Supporting Organisations - including Shoalhaven City Council and the local Business Chamber. Termimesh is proud to be involved in this project by donating the supply and installation of a Termimesh System.   The aim of the SOS Project, is for a house that is more comfortable to live in, more economical to maintain, and has significantly less impact on the environment than a regular house. Having an environmentally friendly Termimesh System installed in the project will ensure ongoing termite protection requiring minimal maintenance.   The SOS Project will be constructed over the next few months and will then be opened as a ‘display home’ for 12 months after completion. The public, intending home owners, building and architecture trades, school and university groups and other interested parties will be encouraged to visit the display home.   Click here to view a news clipping from “South Coast Register” and photo of the sod turning ceremony.   Check back here for regular updates on progress of the SOS Project.
